“Let me entertain you”
Based in the heart of rural Northumberland, I aim to personalise every trip that Lundgren Tours provides
I grew up in Alnwick – a beautiful and historic market town in the heart of Northumberland. My childhood was filled with the wonderful adventures of exploring the rugged countryside and coastline of this magnificent county.
I was always amazed by the proximity of such diverse scenery – one minute, you’d find yourself amongst some of the most historic monuments in Britain (Alnwick/Bamburgh Castle) and the next you’re on a deserted beach, rolling down the tall sand dunes or scrambling across the rocks that shape the county’s coastline. I truly believe that there is something for everyone to enjoy here in Northumberland, a county of rich history and heritage.
The name ‘Lundgren Tours’ was inspired by my seafaring ancestry, a Swede who sailed into Amble, Northumberland from the island of Gotland and passed on his love for this great county. I am so lucky to have made so many wonderful memories growing up here. My aim is to share my experiences with you, so that you can create your own!
Here I am at the House of Lords with my Uni coach and parents, feeling extremely honoured to be shortlisted for an ‘Enterprising Learner of the Year’ award in November 2016. Well worth all the effort and hard work of setting up my own business as a Tour Operator and Guide in Northumberland whilst still at University, studying Entrepreneurial Business Management.
This honour was awarded by the SFEDI and IOEE Group – Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative and the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs.
