Halloween Trip to Whitby & Goathland Station – Sat 31st Oct

Halloween Trip to Goathland Station & Whitby Goth Festival

Join us on an unforgettable Halloween journey through two of northern England’s most enchanting and mysterious destinations — the legendary Whitby Goth Festival, home of Dracula, pirates, and gothic wonder, and Goathland Station, the real-life filming location of Hogsmeade Station from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Stop 1: Goathland Station – Step Into the Wizarding World

All aboard for Hogwarts! Visit Goathland Station, the instantly recognizable Hogsmeade Station where Harry first arrived at Hogwarts. Feel the steam, the nostalgia, and the cinematic magic as you stand on the very platform seen in the movie.

Stop 2: Whitby & the Goth Festival – Dracula’s Seaside Playground

Next, we head to Whitby, the hauntingly beautiful coastal town that inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula and now hosts the world-famous Whitby Goth Weekend.
Wander through cobbled streets filled with vampires, pirates, witches, and steampunk characters — all set against the dramatic backdrop of Whitby Abbey perched above the North Sea.

Discover why Whitby is one of the UK’s most stunning seaside towns, with its dramatic cliffs, quirky medieval streets, and famous fish & chips (arguably the best in the country!). After a guided city walk ending at the spectacular Abbey overlooking the town, you’ll have free time to explore at your own pace.

Highlights:
• Experience the Whitby Goth Festival, one of the UK’s most iconic alternative events
• Explore the haunting ruins of Whitby Abbey, inspiration for Dracula
• Discover gothic markets, live music, and unforgettable costumes
• Learn about Captain Cook’s maritime adventures and Whitby’s pirate past
• Enjoy the best fish & chips
